“In what is sure to be a blow to the already beleaguered stand-alone GPS market, Nokia, the global leader in smartphone market share, has released a fully offline-enabled free GPS navigation and mapping application for its Symbian smartphones. Furthermore, the application also includes Lonely Planet and Michelin guides. Unfortunately, the N900, which is beloved by geeks for its Maemo Linux-based operating system, has not seen any of the navigation love so far. With Google’s release of Google Navigation for Android smartphones, and now Nokia doing one better and releasing an offline-enabled navigation application, hopefully this is the start of a trend where this becomes an expected component of any smartphone.”

Do you want to learn how to sell mobile apps online using the Pocket Brand Software? This tool is an easy way for people to sell their own mobile content online without requiring to wait for payment and paying for unnecessary fees like carrier fees.

1. How Does Pocket Brand Work?

This is a user friendly selling software tool that delivers mobile content directly to clients. It is completely brand-able and requires no programming and coding skills. Increasing sales and delivering mobile content by writing my own app store has been quite easy and very fun for me so far.

2. How Do You Deliver Your Online Mobile Content To Your Customers?

Customers will be able to receive the content that they purchased immediately after without having to wait. An SMS instruction message will be delivered to them to tell them where and how they can download their files directly to their handsets.

The PB mobile content starter pack can also be sold to mobile users all over the world as it comes with resell rights. More than 200 carriers are currently supported on this platform, with more expected to be on the way. In the starting package, I also managed to get 30+ mobile ringtones that I could sell right away.

3. What Can You Do With the Pocket Brand Tool?

Due to the fact that this tool supports all handsets, you should find that you are able to promote your content to a wide audience when you use this tool. You can also retail a wide variety of media content files that enables you to tap into the entire global mobile phones market.

The store features a one click checkout system that I found to be intuitive and easy to use. Different categories and sub-categories can also be created to separate different types of media files.

iPhone Applications at Its Best

Best designed iphone apps for business, gaming, weather updates, counters, email support and entertainment have been downloaded and installed over the web like hot cakes. Development and design works are now being done at the offshore facilities. By choosing offshore destinations over mainland ones, developers are now seeing profit getting maximized. Applications as advanced as that of iPhone unlocking have also been released over the web. But before opting for such an application, one needs to be confident enough because unlocking for iPhone always makes the warranty void on the device. As far as standard application download is concerned, there is no problem here at all.

Google Phone G1

This month October 22nd the search engine king Google is going to sell its first Android capability phone G1.The phone, which is manufactured by Taiwan-based HTC Corporation. Though it’s out looking is something like as iPhone but a lot of  functional and outer difference between the two phones. The weight of G1 is 5.6 ounce where Apple iPhone is 4.7 ounce. So G1 is heavier than iPhone. The G1 — 4.6 inches high, 2.1 inches wide and .62 of an inch thick

One of the G1’s physical attributes is that it is slight curve at the bottom. It can protect the phone from a sudden fallen from your hand. The G1’s QWERTY keyboard is good, the keys are small, even for little fingers, and in some ways, it elicits the same frustrations as using the iPhone’s on-screen keyboard. It also has a very slick touch screen like the iPhone, and search engine friendly a full HTML Web browser.

The price of G1 Phone is $179 only with two years contract. where iPhone is $199. So it is 20 dollar less than iPhone.

There are two basic data plans option by T-Mobile. The first is $35 for unlimited use, including text messages; the other is $25 a month, and includes 400 text messages.

T-Mobile’s least expensive voice plan is $29.99 for 300 minutes, so if you choose the budget route, you’re looking at about $55 a month for the phone. AT&T users pay a minimum of $69.99 a month, including 450 voice minutes, for their iPhones, and text messages are extra.

There’s no mistaking Google’s presence on the phone, which includes Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail e-mail, Google Calendar, and You Tube (which Google owns).

Google Talk for instant messaging is there, too, but so are AIM, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger. and the various Google online programs and documents. Instant messaging is responsive and easy on the phone,

It works on T-Mobile’s EDGE and 3G networks, pretty much the same as the iPhone uses on the AT&T network. By next Wednesday when the G1 goes on sale, T-Mobile says it will have 3G coverage in 23 metropolitan areas around the country.

On the bottom of the phone when the keyboard is hidden, and on the right when slid out, are the main navigation buttons to make or disconnect a call, open a menu screen and go back a screen. The little grey trackball is right in the center of the controls and works like a miniature mouse.

Like other smart-phone operating systems, Android allows users to install any number of applications on top of it. Taking a page from Apple, Google has made it easy to find and download programs directly to the phone with an application called the Android Market.

Unlike the iPhone, on the G1, you can run multiple programs at the same time. So, you can have Google Talk or AOL Instant Messenger running in the background while you surf the Web or listen to music. The G1 will alert you when you’ve got new instant messages, something the iPhone won’t do.

For instance, the G1 has a Google search bar on its home screen, which is like a computer desktop. With the G1 closed and the keyboard hidden, the search box looks inviting; you can see and even click into it. On the iPhone, clicking on such a box would bring up a virtual keyboard that would allow you to enter text and initiate a search

Getting movies, music or even contacts on to the G1 is a lot more difficult than it is on the iPhone, because Google doesn’t have anything similar to iTunes to manage the transfer of such data from a PC. Nor can you sync directly with an Exchange server for your work e-mail or address book, as you can with both the iPhone and Research In Motion’s BlackBerrys.

Both the Android and the iPhone are very similar in their basic capabilities. They both have large touch screens, GPS, WiFi, 3G cellular antennas, accelerometers, and a camera. On the software side, the both have fully capable browsers (based on Webkit), Gmail, GPS-enabled Google Maps, a music player, and a whole array of third-party apps that you can browse and download directly from an App Store on each device.Google Maps on Android includes Street View pictures. Coupled with the compass and GPS, you can see a picture of the street you are on or the building in front of you simply by holding up the phone and moving it around

Unlike every other smart phone I’ve used, the G1 doesn’t come with software to synchronize your calendar or address book with a PC or Mac, which could be a big problem for many people but not for those who already use Gmail or Google Calendar. Microsoft Outlook users can get their data into the G1 by first using free PC software to synch with Google’s web applications. The phone does come with a USB cable to transfer music or photos between the phone and a PC or Mac. Unlike Apple products, it uses the same standard Mini-USB connector as the Blackberry and many digital cameras. You can also charge the device from a computer’s USB port.

The G1 has a better camera (3 mega pixels) but it has no any video recording system. There’s a option to see video clip or file from You Tube.

Bottom line: After all we congratulate the Google phone G1.Though there’s some limitation and disadvantages in this phone but in near future we will expect more function enriched, easy operating system low price and latest all technology based phone from Google. To see the picture and other information you may visit the site presented below

The iPhone is the Only Phone

Ever since June 29, 2007, when every market selling an iPhone saw lines wrapped around the street with hundreds of people sleeping on concrete in all kinds of degrees of deteriorating health, the iPhone has become a household name. Perhaps the first high tech celebrity, the iPhone is so wanted because it’s impressive and it works. Indeed, it seems the developers of the iPhone have thought of everything. No, on second thought. They haven’t, but they have left it up to us, the general clientele, to decide what it is they have neglected. Remember the ancient whoopie cushion? There is no need for it any longer. Pick up a wholesale iPhone, (it’s cheaper!), and download the user-created application iFart. Leave it on a couch and the next time the gadget is moved, enjoy the faux-flatulence fun.But on a more technological note, if you are doubtful about the iPhone’s flat out prestige, you should just see for yourself. The phone’s polished aspect serves to mirror the sophistication of its inside. This is one piece of machinery that is undoubtedly as alluring inside as it is out. There is no sharp edge, each side smooths seamlessly into the other, fitting neatly into the palm of your hand, the flat surface soothing your skin. The iPhone’s cutting-edge face has been usually imitated, but has yet to even be duplicated, let alone overcome. Big enough to understand, yet little enough to fit on the screen, the iPhone’s vibrant display has become the logo of the new epoch. One of the niftiest features is the vanishment of buttons. The world went nuts over the QWERTY keyboard most mobile phones now come equipped with, but those miniscule buttons left little room forample fingers. Two or three letters typed out at a time caused frustration and a unforgivable loss of time, and haste is one of the most important elements of the texting craze. With the iPhone, all it takes is a swift flick of a finger–any finger, of any size, a toe might even work–and you are effortlessly flipping through your ton of applications, text messages, calls and pictures. To type a quick message, just bring up the QWERTY keyboard on screen and click-clack away! The on-screen buttons are bigger, so that anyone can fire off a one-liner in record time. But enough about the boring stuff. The applications are what everyone is talking about. From the playful, like the PhoneSaber which turns your iPhone into a lightsaber equipped with saber noises when you jab it, to the useful such as the EyeChart which arms the user with a authentic Snellen eye chart to keep track of any loss of vision. Or the Epocrates app, which helps users in identifying tablets by their physical appearance and catch any unknown drug interactions. If you’re of a musical mind, you’d probably enjoy the Ocarina app, which literally makes your phone into a wind instrument. The good news is a lot of the iPhone’s apps are free. Buy a wholesale iPhone and you’ll be way ahead of the game. The iPhone: quite literally the only phone you’ll need for calls, text messages, killing time and the pursuit of happiness.

Within five quarters, Apple sold over 6.1 million iPhones and 3.8 million iPhone 3G phone were sold in the second quarter of fiscal year 2009. Apple reached a huge figure of 21.4 million iPhone sold by end of March 2009.

Sales in Q4 2008 surpassed those of BlackBerry sales of 5.2 million units, which made Apple the third largest mobile phone manufacturer by revenue after Nokia & Samsung. Approximately, 6.4 million iPhones are active in the US alone.

iPhone users in EU surpass all others in mobile media usage. More than 80% of them are from France, Germany and the UK using it to browse news and information on the mobile web, compared to 32% of other smartphone users. According to the survey, 42% of iPhone users normally visit social networking site on their device compared with the market average of 3% and 10% of smartphone owners. E-mail is another popular feature, with nearly 70% of iPhone users sending and receiving email with their device, compared with just 26% among other smartphone users.

Apple improved iPhone handset features and also reduced the price which had a significant on its uptake, especially in the European market. Despite its small user-base, iPhone is already in top 10 handsets for online browsing in the UK and in the top 5 in France and Germany. It’s giving devices like Nokia and Sony Ericsson a definite run for their money.

Some of the reasons why iPhone has been able to replace various popular smartphone available. iPhone applications normally run one at a time, although most functionality is still available when making a call or listening to music. The home screen can be accessed at any time by a hardware button below the screen. iPhone allows audio conferencing, caller ID, call merging, call holding, and integration with other cellular network features. For Example, if a song is played while a call is being received; it gradually fades out, and fades back when the call gets over. The design & layout of the music library is similar to that of an iPod. The iPhone can sort its media library by these criteria like songs, artists, albums, videos, playlists, genres, composers, podcasts, audio books and compilations etc. iPhone uses a large font that allows users plenty of room to touch their selection. Internet access is available when the iPhone is connected to a local area Wi-Fi or a wide area GSM or EDGE network.

The iPhone 3G has a maximum download rate of 1.4 Mbps in the United States. The maps application can access Google Maps in map, satellite, or hybrid form. It can generate directions between two locations, while providing optional real-time traffic information. According to Google, iPhone generates 50 times more search requests than any other mobile handsets. For text input, iPhone has a virtual keyboard and also has automatic spell checking and correction, predictive word capabilities, and a dynamic dictionary that learns new words. iPhone also features an e-mail program that supports HTML e-mail, which enables the user to embed photo in an e-mail message, PDF, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint attachments to mail messages can be viewed on the phone. iPhone and iPhone 3G feature a built in fixed-focus 2.0 megapixel camera located on the back.

The iPhone 3GS has a 3.2 megapixel camera, with auto focus. It can be cropped on the device itself and directly uploaded to YouTube or other services.

There are over 65,000 third party applications already available at app store to date and are forecasted to reach a million marks very soon. More and more enhanced features are expected to come from Apple and to rule the mobile market very soon.

Nokia 6110 Navigator – Guidance for New World

The Nokia 6110 Navigator utilizes Route66 solutions – a software that is available for purchase and doesn’t differ from the pre-installed version. The Nokia 6110 Navigator measures a comfortable 101x49x20 mm, and weighs in at 125 grams. Currently, the mobile phone is available in two different colour solutions – black and white.

The Nokia 6110 Navigator fittingly supports all four GSM mobile networks across the world. Inclusion on HSDPA technology enables the smartphone to take part in 3G video calls in favorable networks. Under optimum conditions, the Nokia 6110 Navigator is capable of achieving downloading speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps.

Other data connectivity options like class 32 GPRS and EDGE makes it possible to maintain high speed connection even in absence of 3G networks. Send and receive emails, surf the web on its built in browser and download your desired content to your mobile phone directly – the Nokia 6110 Navigator is your complete data solution while you are on the road.

The sliding mechanism is extremely sturdy, there’s a nice firm clunk when you open or close it, and there’s no looseness in either mode. The Nokia 6110 Navigator phone can be opened and closed with one hand, and it’s comfortable to hold when making calls as the bulk of the weight is in the keypad section. The front and back covers are a glossy plastic, with a matt metallic silver middle section that allows you to grip the phone more easily. The screen is surrounded by a brushed steel frame.

The back cover has a brushed steel middle section that covers the camera, part of which can be retracted to reveal the lens and flash (opening it activates the camera app, closing it closes the app). The steel camera cover got stained fairly quickly by fingerprints, although the screen frame didn’t stain at all.

The Nokia 6110 Navigator has external stereo speakers, but for some strange reason the designers put them right next to each other on the back of the phone. There’s a built-in FM radio tuner, which lets you listen to normal radio stations, and you can download all of your local presets from an online database. The Nokia 6110’s Navigator gallery application also lets you enter the RTSP addresses of internet audio streams so you can listen to many internet radio stations too.
